VFR Fuel helps converting fuel to weight and distance during preflight planning.

How to use

Enter the amount of fuel in left and right tanks and VFR fuel calculates:

Total time that can be flown without running out of fuel
Total time in left and right tank respectively
Available time.
Total volume of fuel in litres and US gallons
Total weight of fuel in kg and pounds

Settings

Press the cog in the top left corner to view settings

Volume unit

Choose if you want to enter fuel amount in litres or US gallons

Required reserve

Most countries require you plan for having a minimal amount of fuel left after landing. In VFR Fuel, available time is total time minus the required reserve.

Fuel consumption

How much fuel the engine consumes per hour.
